At Harrow Way, all of our Senior Leadership Team are trained as Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL).

Mrs Katy Woods, Deputy Headteacher for Inclusion, Behaviour and Welfare, leads on this area of school. She is supported by Mr Johnathan Mongi, Safeguarding Manager, Mrs Julia McLachlan, Student Welfare and Attendance Officer and Mrs Dawn German, Deputy Headteacher.

The Designated Safeguarding Leads are clear about their role, have sufficient time and receive relevant support and training, to undertake their roles, which includes close contact with outside agencies, including Social Care, the Hampshire County Council Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) and relevant health care organisations.
