A national competition organised by Edge Hill University’s Mathematics Department attracted entrants from across the country, with teams entering from as far afield as Hertfordshire and Hampshire. The Year 8 Gifted and Talented Geography and History students worked in groups to design and present a tour of India, past, present and future. The competition was judged by the school's Senior Leadership Team who were very impressed with the standard of the work produced.
Some Year 10 art students visited Andover College's Art Department to view their A level and Foundation Degree end of year exhibition. During the visit students were given the opportunity to photograph and draw sketches of the work and talk with college art staff about the courses on offer.

The latest and hottest technique in embroidery today is the use of the soldering iron to burn, bond, etch and then stitch fabrics to expand the reach of textile art.   During Hampshire County Council's 'Walking to School' week, some Harrow Way students worked with the Pre-school encouraging the children to walk around the school grounds. Harrow Way's Year 11 leavers raised money for the Pre-school. In a succesful fund-raising bid, equipment was bought and recently presented to Harrow Way's successful early years group.
