Steph Twell joined GCSE PE students, Ambassadors and Sports Leaders at Harrow Way School today. Inspirational and extremely knowledgeable, at the young age of 22, she has already achieved great things! At only 18, Steph competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and narrowly missed out on a place in the final; then in 2010 she was a Bronze medallist in the 1500m at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Despite breaking her ankle back in January, Steph has returned to form, has started competing again and is now determined to earn her place at the Olympics.

We wish Steph all the best in her next race in Slovenia (you can catch it on BBC2 on Sunday 11th December) and in her journey to London 2012. We will be with her all the way and look forward to welcoming her back to Harrow Way next year!
