On Friday 18th September a Stage Management workshop was held for the school theatre technicians club, which meets after school on Tuesdays. The workshop was part of the National Student Drama Festival workshop programme, more information can be found at www.nsdf.org.uk.
The workshop was run by Ernest Hall, Stage Manager for the National Theatre. He gave an insight to the production process from first rehearsal to the opening show night. Students also learned how to mark up a rehearsal area and the job roles of the Stage Manager, Deputy and Assistant.
