Ten students from across the year groups, joined with students from other Test Valley Schools at Kings School, Winchester, to take part in the Test Valley Young Interpreters Conference.
All students involved have English as an Additional Language and attended the first Young Interpreters Conference, as part of a national award-winning scheme organised by EMTAS (Ethnic Minority and Travellers Achievement Service). Students enjoyed a range of workshops from around the world, including Nepali drumming and Indian dancing. In addition, many enjoyed meeting and chatting to their peers in languages ranging from Polish to French.
