It was another polished performance from the year 8/9 boys’ rugby team this evening with a 35-0 win over The Clere School. Captained by Joe Joy, Harrow Way were superior in every sense of the word and dominated every area of the pitch from start to finish. Last week, both Joe and team mate Joshua Ingram were selected for the second stage of the Hampshire rugby trials to be held in November.
Following the postponement of the Andover and District Rugby Sevens Championships last week due to the day of teachers’ industrial action, the year 9 team will be hoping to make it three in a row when they aim to defend their crown (again!). The new date is yet to be confirmed but will be published in due course.
