48 Year 8 students had a great day at the Hawk Conservancy on Wednesday 1st May. The aim of the trip was for students to develop their understanding of predation and to think about the adaptations that some of the birds have to help them in their fight to survive. The students particularly enjoyed holding the tawny and barn owls, low flying vultures and the African Fish Eagle scooping its prey out of the water. Click here for some pictures.
