The year 7 boys got off to a flying start with a 9-0 victory over their Winton counterparts in the opening fixture of the season. After the referee awarded a penalty following a handball in the box, Ross Belbin stepped up to cooly hand Harrow Way a 1-0 lead. With the bit between their teeth the home side never looked back. Captained by Tommy Willard the Harrow Way boys steamed forward time and time again with Willard taking five goals himself! Owen Mussell grabbed a brace and Sam Clash completed the scoreline with a flurry of substitutions in the closing minutes allowing all of the squad to strech their legs. There will be steeper tests to come as the cup progresses but Harrow way can bew proud of an excellent start with a clean sheet a boost for Keeper Callum Walmsley. There are high hopes for this developing side and they are certainly one to watch!
Thanks to Mr M Smyth, Mr J Moulding and Mr M Harper-Ronald for officiating.
