The school writing club led by Miss Pittman and Miss Herbert have had some publishing success when they entered some of their pieces into a national competition ran by the Young Writers Association. Their task was to write a mini saga in 50 words on a theme of their choice. Four students, Keeya Hanley, Max Lane-Bradbury, Mark Todd and Amy Tilbury, have had their work published in a book called Mini Sagas Swashbuckling Stories. The book is available to buy from most book stores.
The latest entries have been sent off to be entered into this years competition and hopefully more students work will be published in next years edition.
