Yesterday Morris Gleitzman came in to Harrow Way to give Year 7, the Reading Club and Library Staff a talk about writing great stories. He told us the secret to writing the best sort of books, which is to have interesting characters who always have lots of problems! Year 6s from Portway came along to visit too as, like us, they are always keen to improve their story writing skills. Â
Morris read us a bit from his new book ‘Grace’ and I bought a book called ‘Then’ which Morris signed for me. One of his books is soon to become a Hollywood animated film and he told us all about his visit to the USA.
