We are pleased to inform you that on Monday 7th December, Poet Gez Walsh will be visiting Harrow Way to help us launch our Year 8 Poetry Competition.
Gez will be performing to the whole of Year 8 and will then hold smaller workshops with individual tutor groups.
This funny and successful poet writes about subjects such as school, teachers, spots, classmates, mums, dads, growing up and other painful problems. His books are extremely popular with our students and are borrowed on a regular basis from the School Library.
Gez has agreed to bring along a selection of his books for the students to purchase during break and lunchtime if they are interested, and he will sign all copies.
If you would like your child to purchase a SIGNED copy of one of these fantastic books they will need to bring in £4.50 on the day.
