This match was one of the toughest the girls had faced for a while. Inaccurate passing and poorly timed dodging led the girls to be 8-9 down at half time. However, during the last remaining quarters, the girls showed determination and grit and played like a completely different team. There were moments when the ball was played flawlessly up the court into the very capable and consistent hands of Anna-Leigh Brooks (GS). Anna’s timing and movement off the ball throughout the whole game was outstanding. The team pulled away in the final quarter and dominated the court.

The girls must be congratulated as they showed the maturity to control their emotions, raise their game and come out worthy winners.
