Oh how we didn’t want to get up this morning. However, once roused all the students got on with the bed stripping, room tidying and final packing – all before breakfast at 7.50 am! We were on our way by 8.30 am and enjoyed a traffic-jam free journey to Calais. Once on the train we held our prize-giving ceremony.
Mme Coin gave out certificates and prizes for good work, good teamwork and in some cases for personal achievement in the face of great heights. Well done everyone, and a big thank-you from Mme Coin, Mr Warren, Mrs Brett and Mrs Vanderplank for being such a cheerful and co-operative group and making our job of looking after you all a lot easier and much more fun.
