A group of Year 9 and Year 10 Art students proved that Saturday mornings do exist when they met Mrs Harvey at 8.45am outside Andover College!
They all worked in the college art dept for the morning, enthusiastically trying to create fashion garments from paper, plastics, bamboo and a huge wealth of other items often referred to as “wasteâ€. The working processes and final results can be viewed in the slide show. (click this link to access photographs)
They then moved to figure drawing from a live model and printing methods, both on a far larger scale than often previously experienced. The resulting work will be used in their GCSE portfolios and add to their final assessment grades.
A warm thank you was given to the college art staff at the close of the exciting morning.
