Congratulations to 3 students who competed on a beautifully sunny day in the County Cross Country Championships at Alton Rugby Club. In all there were 800 students competing from years 7 and 8, from all districts in Hampshire.
Cherie Ballard Year 7
Cherie competed against 200 other competitors in the under 13 competition and finished a very respectable 121st place. Cherie was the only girl to compete from Harrow Way School and did herself proud. Well done, Cherie! (Too shy for a photo!)
Sam Catton  Year 8
Sam sailed past 175 other competitors in the challenging under 14 competition to finish an unbelievable 25th place, just missing out on the qualification for the National Championships. Not bad for a goalkeeper!
Luke Holman  Year 8
Luke competed in the demanding under 14 competition; he had a steady race and finished in 97th place. Well done Luke!
All the students should be praised for their commitment and good behaviour. They are a credit to the school.
