Set off from Bristol at 9:30 and were lost by 9:31. Luckily we found a bike shop who gave us a map and some directions, so thanks to Evans Cycles in Bristol.

We crossed the Severn bridge (which is not the Clifton Suspension Bridge which confused Woodsy) and were in Wales for about 20 minutes before returning to England. From then on we just headed North through Ross-on-Wye and Leominster to Ludlow. Not very eventful but a good day with a lot of miles done. Everybody feels tired but happy and keen to complete the ride.

We have been put up in complete luxury by Toddy and Steve, and Debbie in two great houses and given an absolutely gorgeous meal with beer and wine and a fantastic cheesecake to finish. Josh was in heaven. We are being really lucky to find these great people.
