 Mr Woods and Mr Gardner took part in the Test Valley Tour in preparation for the Lands End to John O’Groats (LeJog) trip in August. They managed to cover the 100Km distance in just under 4 hours with an average speed of 15.7mph. This time would have been a bit better, but the hot conditions took their toll on Mr Gardner who started to experience muscle cramps at around the 60Km mark. He was in some considerable pain for the last 40Km but managed to soldier on.
